Day 1 · Welcome to Egypt

Arrive at Cairo airport where your local representative assists with entry formalities and escorts you to your hotel for an evening of quiet rest.

Day 2 · Cairo – Great Pyramids & Egyptian Museum

Stand beneath the pyramids of Giza and visit the Valley Temple and Sphinx. Later, view golden antiquities and royal statues at Cairo's classic Egyptian Museum.

Day 3 · Alexandria Tour

Drive to Alexandria on the Mediterranean to tour the medieval Citadel of Qaitbay, modern Bibliotheca Alexandrina, St. Mark's Church, and the scenic Montazah Palace gardens before returning to Cairo.

Day 4 · Luxor Tour

Take a morning flight to Luxor and cross to the West Bank to visit the Valley of the Kings, Queen Hatshepsut's temple, and the Colossi of Memnon, then continue to Karnak and Luxor Temple.

Day 5 · Nile Cruise - Aswan Tour

Travel south to Aswan to see the High Dam and board a boat to the island temple of Philae. Stop at the ancient northern quarries to inspect the Unfinished Obelisk.

Day 6 · Aswan – Open Day

Spend an open day in Aswan at your own rhythm. Wander through the botanical gardens, stroll along the corniche or relax at your hotel overlooking granite islands.

Day 7 · Departure

Conclude your journey after breakfast with a private vehicle transfer to Aswan airport or the rail station for your scheduled onward travel.

Day 1 · Welcome to Egypt

After the visits, transfer to your accommodation or onward connection as arranged in your quotation.

Day 2 · Cairo – Great Pyramids & Egyptian Museum

Explore the pyramids of Khufu, Khafre and Menkaure with your Egyptologist guide, with stops for views across the Giza Plateau. Continue to the Great Sphinx and Valley Temple. Entry inside a pyramid requires a separate ticket and advance confirmation. Visit the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Square with your guide to explore ancient statues, burial objects and other highlights of the collection. After the visits, transfer to your accommodation or onward connection as arranged in your quotation.

Day 3 · Alexandria Tour

Combine today's scheduled touring with an evening transfer to the railway station to board the overnight sleeper train, or arrive from the rail journey and meet your local representative at the platform. Explore Alexandria with your private guide, visiting the seaside Citadel of Qaitbay on the ancient Pharos foundation, the modern Bibliotheca Alexandrina (subject to operating days and holiday closures), the coastal gardens of Montazah Palace, with road transfers and a break along the Corniche coordinated around your schedule. After the visits, transfer to your accommodation or onward connection as arranged in your quotation.

Day 4 · Luxor East Bank

Visit the vast Karnak Temple complex on Luxor's East Bank, walking through the Great Hypostyle Hall of 134 columns, royal pylons, and sacred precincts dedicated to Amun-Ra. Explore Luxor Temple in the heart of the city, observing the courtyard of Amenhotep III, the colossi of Ramesses II, and the processional Avenue of Sphinxes. Transfer to the railway station for the scheduled train connection along the Nile corridor, meeting your local coordinator and private vehicle upon arrival. After the visits, transfer to your accommodation or onward connection as arranged in your quotation.

Day 5 · Luxor West Bank

Cross to the West Bank of Luxor to enter the Valley of the Kings, visiting the rock-cut royal tombs included in the standard admission while noting that special tombs like Tutankhamun require a separate ticket. Continue to the terraced mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari, set dramatically against the desert cliffs. Pause at the Colossi of Memnon, the twin seated statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III guarding the Theban necropolis. Day 6 · Aswan Tour

Visit the Aswan High Dam to understand modern flood control along the Nile and view the northern expanse of Lake Nasser. Take a short local motorboat crossing to Agilkia Island to tour the relocated Temple of Isis at Philae and its Ptolemaic colonnades. Examine the Unfinished Obelisk in Aswan's northern granite quarries, where ancient trench marks show how monumental stone shafts were extracted. Day 7 · Cairo – Open Day

Spend an unhurried day in Cairo with no fixed sightseeing obligations, allowing time to rest, enjoy the surroundings, or set your own pace. If you wish to add an optional guided visit, coastal boat outing, or neighborhood walk on this date, request it during planning so transport and any required admission tickets can be quoted separately. Keep your coordinator informed of any changes to your schedule so the following day's pickup or travel connection remains properly aligned.

Day 8 · Departure

Have breakfast and check out at the agreed time. Your private driver meets you at the hotel for the transfer to your departure airport or station, planned around your onward journey.

Package Pricing per Person (USD)

Double / Twin Occupancy: $1160 per person | Single Room / Cabin: $1682 | Triple Room: $1102 per person. Children (under 12 sharing with adults) receive a 50% discount. Rates include scheduled accommodation, domestic guiding, and transfers as detailed in the proposal.

Walking, steps and sun protection

Expect steps, uneven ground and time in the sun at archaeological sites and desert stops. Wear comfortable closed-toe shoes and bring water and sun protection. Tell us about any walking or access needs before the route is confirmed.

Museum and monument admission specifics

This itinerary visits the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Square. Confirm the entrance tickets included in your quotation. Special tombs and pyramid interiors may need separate tickets and advance arrangements.

Rates start from $1160 per person based on double occupancy. Single room/cabin supplements ($1682) and triple room savings ($1102 per person) apply. Final quotes reflect verified hotel and vessel availability.

Are monument entrance tickets and meals included automatically?

Check your quotation for the entrance tickets, boat crossings, meals and transport included in the price. The itinerary shows the proposed visits; any extra tickets or services are confirmed separately before booking.

Which Cairo museum or monument selection does this itinerary follow?

The itinerary names the museum and monuments planned for your visit, including the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Square. If you prefer a different museum, discuss that change before the quotation is confirmed.

Can pickup times and pacing be adjusted for our group?

Yes. We can discuss pickup times, breaks and time at each stop when planning your private ground arrangements. Changes need to fit your hotel location, any flight or ship schedule and the time available for the visits.
